[9] Audimax
- Audimax is short for Auditorium Maximum and refers to the largest lecture hall at a university.
- The participants of the Children’s University are the youngest audience in Audimax. Pupils from grades 2 to 6 are invited. Parents have to stay outside as there is a separate programme for them.
- On the first day of the winter semester lecture period, the President of the University of Bayreuth traditionally welcomes the new students in the Audimax as part of the commencement ceremony.
Audimax
The Audimax of the University of Bayreuth was inaugurated in July 1994. It has 700 seats, divided into two blocks of 16 rows each. A visible supporting structure and technical equipment are part of the building concept.
Theatre space
Theatre Studies at Bayreuth has its own supported theatre space. In addition to a variety of lectures and artistic projects, several student initiatives from the University of Bayreuth perform on the stage, ensuring a diverse programme.

Motto
