Travelling by car

Coming from the A9, take the Bayreuth-Süd (AS 42) exit and turn onto the B2 towards Bayreuth. Follow Dr.-Konrad-Pöhner-Straße until it turns right into Universitätsstraße after about 1 km. At the next junction turn left towards the University. For further orientation, please use our campus map.

Arriving by public transport

From the Bayreuth Central Train Station, take a bus to the Central Bus Station (ZOH). From there, bus lines 304, 306 and 326 go to the University. Bus line 316 runs directly between the Central Train Station and the campus. There are three bus stops on campus: “Mensa” (Cafeteria), “Geowissenschaften” (Earth Sciences) and “Uni-Verwaltung” (University Administration) (see campus plan).
